Uriel Orlow is an artist based in Switzerland and the UK. Through various media, he explores colonial histories, environmental issues, and the memories they leave behind.
Reveries of Collective Walkers (Busan) is an ongoing project inspired by the simple acts of walking and resting along Dadaepo Beach in Busan. Combining posters, books, and plants, the work invites visitors to take part in a reading experience with the plants.
Following the instructions on the posters, you are invited to read aloud in front of a plant, treating it as your “audience” while walking along the path. Through this poetic and literary performance, the carbon dioxide you exhale and the oxygen produced by the plant create a subtle exchange, offering a shared moment of reflection and a connection with the local ecology.
